Hi there, I’m Laney Cherie Godfrey, the heart behind Laney Cherie Planning.

I married my high school sweetheart, and our story has shaped so much of the love and purpose behind my work. I’m a Christian first, continually seeking to deepen my faith and reflect Christ in everything I do. I believe weddings are sacred celebration and the beginning of a family — and it’s an honor to play even a small part in that.

I’m a big family girl through and through. Family means everything to me, and it’s one of the reasons I cherish this work so deeply. Getting to serve couples as they start their own families is such a gift.

When I’m not planning weddings, you can usually find me organizing something. There’s always a drawer, closet, or cabinet that can be tidied again. I’m type A in all the best ways — detail-oriented, structured, and committed to creating clarity and calm. That same mindset shapes the way I plan weddings: purposeful, peaceful, and beautifully organized.
